Isn’t it true that rice hulls are inedible, contain silica, and are indigestible?

1 year ago · Updated

Although rice hull is indigestible due to its fiber content, it is edible and safe to consume. It does include silica, although it can also be found in many foods, such as beans, bananas, and others. Likewise, silica as silicon dioxide is used as an anti-caking agent in food and supplement products and is safe to use.
