Is ColonBroom suitable for someone with diverticulitis?

Generally, yes. Many studies show that eating a fiber-rich diet can help control diverticulitis symptoms. Fiber helps prevent constipation, softens, and adds bulk to stools, helping them pass more easily through the colon. It can also help decrease pressure in the colon and prevent flare-ups of diverticulitis.
However, foods high in fiber should be avoided during a flare-up for people with diverticulitis, as this can provoke the symptoms.
If you have diverticulitis, we recommend consulting with your doctor before taking ColonBroom.
